I collaborated with Tanque Rosa Choque in São Paulo to start a movement of awareness about the history of LGBT groups in the city and the disappearance of Safe-Spaces.
Our initiative was to screen old footage and symbols of the Brazilian queer fight on the facade of an old LGBT venue that was taken over by the neo-pentecostal evangelical church, one of the main institutions against humans rights for queer people in the country today.
The video was shared on social media as a virtual demonstration in the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the first national meeting for LGBT rights fight in Brazil, back in 1980.
